DC Art Model Collective

I enjoy being creative, giving my attention to a range of subjects and exploring them through paint and other materials. Art is a constant in my life — my work has been in the public eye for six decades – and teaching the practice helps sharpen my skills. While it is nice to garner attention as an individual artist, I feel my studio is an infinitely smaller part of a much larger picture — our human sense of beauty and purpose. Art is a social phenomenon, like agriculture, something we share and consume together. So, as I work in that greater field, I’m engaged in planting seeds, tending to new shoots, feeding the roots and harvesting.
